this is my entry for the Sweeney Todd poster contest
original size is 20"x 30" at 300 dpi (6000x 9000 pixels)

i tried to match the color style of the current posters with the bluish gray tone to it
the hardest part was the stupid frame, it would have been a lot quicker and easier to just create the frame in photoshop but i wanted it to look (style-wise) like the rest of the art so i hand drew it (although i cheated and only drew 1/4 of it and duplicated that part)
i wanted Depp's pose to frame the chair and make it as though he's either just had the idea to kill people or he's struggling with the idea of killing people

May I ask... how much time do you spend on making these pieces?
It's just that... I take so, so long with mine, and they're not 1/100 as good as yours...!

Anyways, envy aside - :roll: -, congratulations on one more awesome piece...! You make me wanna quit trying xDDDD (just kidding, of course, I'm in awe of you! ;))

i only want to inspire you to make art, not stop

this piece took about 5 days on and off (mostly on), i don't know how many hours exactly
