started this piece a few months ago but got sidetracked by life and other work

i was at my last show and realized that i didn't have any classic Spidey pics, only the one in the black costume. so i knew i had to remedy that
yes, that is the same Statue of Liberty in the background. i wanted this to be a sort of companion piece to the Spidey in Black.

Great shading on spidey. Gotta put my glasses on 8-)
Though the colours in the background and the giant pigeon on the front are questionable. They almost takes away from the detail in your work.

I agree. the pigeon in the front looks a little off, and the colors in the background are kinda weird if you ask me.

Welcome back in the house mate... Good to have you back.

Great dynamic piece. Love the energy you've thrown in. Can't say I agree with the comments about the background or the bird. The background while not 'sky', enhances for me the urgency and energy and the pigeon brings the viewer eye far forward. Great sense of 3D.

The other thing about the birds is that I like the idea that his crazy swinging has frightened them clean outta their minds.
