Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers cuttin' a rug....
tried something different on this one, i was going for more of a chalk/charcoal/sketchy look
i started with a black canvas and built up with grays and different opacities of white, added the spotlights and used a layer mask to create the black blocks of their clothing

anyway, it's a Xmas gift for my wife
the last gift of the season!

I absolutely love it! I love how you treated the contures/grooves in the clothing. The line-work is so loose and graceful that you can almost picture them moving. The picture just comes to life. I believe that the sketchy style is quite pleasant, and definately fitting/suitable to the picture/scene. Very impressive.

Very nice job on the sketchy look! (even though the background doesn't look like it... It's actualy an interesting contrast)

On the sixth day, God created the platypus. And God said: Let's see the evolutionists try and figure this one out. =P
Yay for Fred and Ginger love! They're my favorite "Golden Age of Hollywood" stars, and this is a great pic of them! :)
